Magaluf
A teenager from London has died having fallen from a hotel balcony in the Spanish resort of Magaluf.
The young man reportedly named Thomas Ousby, 19, allegedly fell from the ninth-floor fire escape. The Foreign Office spokeswoman stated “We were notified on 3 August of the death of a British national in Spain and are providing consular assistance to the family at this time.”
It was said Mr Ousby was working in the resort, promoting bars and boat trips. Many of his friends voiced their grief on Twitter.
One tweeted: “Delighted I got the privilege to meet such an outstanding genuinely happy guy & call him a friend.”
Another added: “Thomas William Ousby has the most amazing energy I’ve ever met in a person, I truly adore him and cannot understand why he’s not here.”
A third one wrote: “Feel so lucky to have spent a month in Maga with you and to have shared so many cool memories.”
