Mike Stevens: Scored 40 stableford points
TOGS (Torrox Golf Society) played another of their ‘major’ competitions, the Nautico Trophy at Baviera Golf in Caletta.
Played as an Individual Stableford competition every player was keen to win this coveted Trophy.
Playing were several former winners of the Nautico, including last year’s winner, the TOGS Captain George Clay, the 2011 winner Avis Clay and the 2009 winner Bob Willett. None of these could hold back Mike Stevens, who despite a recent two shot handicap reduction, scored a magnificent 40 stableford points.
The next ‘major’ trophy will be the Captain’s Day Claret Jug on Sunday,
September 15.
Guests are welcome to join in for a friendly but competitive game of golf every Sunday morning at Baviera. More information: email togsgolfsociety@yahoo.com or call the Captain George Clay on 625936814.
