Roquetas issues BBQ rules

BARBECUES have been banned from the Aguadulce and La Urba beaches in Roquetas this summer.

The small cove at Castillo de Santa Ana is also affected, but otherwise they are permitted at the town’s remaining beaches.

They may not be lit until 2pm, the town hall announced, with a total ban during the morning.  They must be sited within 20 metres of the breakwater at each beach, except at Los Bajos, owing to lack of space.

“The areas must be left perfectly clean afterwards,” emphasised the Tourism and Beaches department.
