Michael Owen Announces his Retirement

MICHAEL Owen has announced he will retire from football at the end of this season. Owen, who currently plays as a forward for Stoke is currently in talks with England over a role with the team working with the next generation of young, aspiring football hopefuls.

His career has seen him play for a number of premiership and national teams since the young age of 18 including England, Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester United and Real Madrid and he has decided to finally retire from the game.
