HUNDREDS of people attended a party in Plaza de la Mezquita, to raise funds for children.
The Arroyo de la Miel event was held in aid of the Malaga Children’s Hospital Volunteer Association (AVOI) and classes at a local shelter.
Organised by The English Academy and promoted by the local Department for Social Welfare, the party included raffles, stalls with clothes and books, competitions, dancing and performances.
The councillor for Social Welfare, Francisco Salido, who attended with other members of the local council, said that the town had made a huge effort to raise funds for the children.
Organisers Olivia and Kate Churchill, thanked local businesses for their collaboration and said they look forward to carrying out the same event in the future.
