COIN town hall is still looking for investors to run two abandoned hotel-resorts.
The council put out contract s to run El Palomar and Ciudad del Cine resorts in October, but there were no takers. Now the town hall is thinking of changing the conditions of the contracts to make them more appealing to potential investors.
Ciudad del Cine is a rural urbanisation built more than 20 years ago. Initially conceived as a movie set, it is suitable for film making and can accommodate up to 170 people. El Palomar Hotel in Miravalle urbanisation has room for 20 customers.
With the two resorts still closed, the three-star Albaicin Hotel with 20 rooms is currently the only high-quality hotel in Coin.
