Record run raises more than €1,000 for Adana

ANGELIKA Weyrich, who ran the Amsterdam Marathon to raise funds for the Association for the Rights of Abandoned Animals (ADANA), succeeded not only in raising over 1,100 euros but also achieved a personal best time of 3 hours 52 minutes and 43 seconds.

Other upcoming events to raise funds for ADANA include a Christmas Fair on November 25 in the Palacio de Congresos, Estepona, from 11am, where there will be an array of inexpensive gifts, carol singers, and Father Christmas. Also, a coffee morning will be held outside Longman’s bookshop at 11am on November 30, with a festive version taking place on December 14.
