COMFY PLEASE: German tourists flying to Alicante prefer traditional airlines.
TOURISTS travelling to Alicante seem to be putting comfort before ticket expenses. El Altet international airport received 7.3% less low-cost airlines passengers during the first eight months of the year.
However, low-cost is still the top choice to travel Spain, as 58.3% of the passengers chose these companies over traditional airlines. British and German tourists are the most common low-cost passengers – 35.9 and 19.3 per cent, respectively.
