Learning to grow safely

WORKERS of street cleaning company FCC and their children took part in an ‘Industrial Safety Day’ at Fuengirola fairground. This event, under the motto ‘Learning to grow safely’, aims to create a ‘preventive culture’, according to cleaning services councillor Pedro Vega.

Around 50 adults and 25 children participated in different training and awareness-raising activities, games and contests for the children, around issues such as the hazards of electricity and chemicals or personal protection equipment.  A visit in a training bus also explained preventive measures applied by the company.
