Three flags for Mojacar

THREE of the 19 blue flags awarded to Almeria’s beaches have already been hoisted by the mayor of Mojacar, Rosa Maria Cano. The three Mojacar beaches; #i# Ventanicas- Venta del Bancal, Piedra Villazar, and Marina de la Torre #i#, have been honoured by the European Environmental Education Association for their clean water and satisfactory facilities. According to Mayor Cano, she is very satisfied with these awards and also pointed out that Mojacar has “three of the best beaches in Andalucia. The quality of our water is unbeatable, the beaches are very clean and we have all the services a citizen can need, not only on these three beaches, but all along the coast.”
