Mugging in Mojacar

By Ric Polansky ©

A long time local resident walking near the Guardia Vieja complex in Mojacar was viciously mugged, thrown to the ground, beaten and her purse stolen.

As I write these few lines she is still bedridden and cannot move. Her face is quite cut up requiring stitches and her left arm totally black from the bruising. Fortunately she was greatly helped by Jim of the Cave bar and Kenny of Cowboy cocina fame.

The victim, frail, delicate, quiet and demure Jennifer is still not sure what happened to her nor why such a brazen act would be committed so publicly. The word “desperation” comes to my mind.

This truly is the first act of this type of violence in living memory. But since her incident I have heard stories of purse snatchings in Garrucha and camera thieving on the beaches. Be on your guard; routine movements need to be examined in advance for lurking predators. A strange and alien gender of personage has apparently descended upon Mojacar this summer.

Jennifer is being attended by the Almeria Angels. You can obtain her telf. number through my offices.

get irked while other people think about concerns that
they just do not know about. You managed to hit the nail
upon the highest as smartly as defined out the entire thing without having side-effects , folks could take a signal.
Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
