BSM summer fair raises cash for charity

A SUMMER fair at the British School of Marbella (BSM) raised €472 for charity.

Families, staff and children enjoyed a bouncy castle, a barbecue, secondhand stalls, a raffle and games run by the teachers during the two-hour event at the school.

One of the most popular games was a ‘soak the teacher’ stall where children lined up to throw buckets of water and wet sponges at teachers Miss Fry and Miss Chalmers.

The money is being donated to DEBRA Spain, which helps children living with Epidermolysis bullosa (EB), known as Butterfly Children, when the skin is as fragile as a butterfly’s wing and can blister at the slightest touch.
