The Mary Leishman Foundation support HAH

MORE than 60 people arrived at Murcia Airport for the Mary Leishman Foundation golf event.

Celebrities playing with local teams included Gordon Sherry, Craig Brown, Cyril Regis and Jim Jefferies, to name a few.

The celebrity draw was made that night at Route 66, Torre Pacheco, followed by a massive party.

On Friday, they went along to Pereleja Golf Club for the first day’s play.

This was followed by a barbecue and party for 175 guests at the Aquadel Sports bar in San Cayetano, where partying went on again until the early hours of Saturday morning.

The teams were then back to Pereleja for the competition.

The event then moved on to the Torre Pacheco Spa Hotel for a superb Dinner Dance, which saw 225 guests enjoy a sumptuous meal, where the wine flowed freely, and Eastenders own Big Mo, Laila Morse mingled with the guests.

During the evening a raffle and auction were held, where guests bid for signed portraits including those by Lionel Messi, Ronaldo and Fernando Alonso.

The disco was provided by TKO FM’s Lee Fox, and the Red Tops were the entertainment for the night.

Jim Leishman, recently awarded the title of Provost of Fife, to accompany his MBE, along with MLF trustee Ian Miller, made donations to the school in San Cayetano, and €3,000 to the local charity Held At Home.
