THERE are diamonds in the Serrania de Ronda area, as well as in Torrox (Malaga).
This was revealed by researchers from Malaga and Granada Universities.

They appear as small red balls in granite and other minerals.
The possibility of using the diamonds commercially has not yet been studied by specialist firms, and experts say the cost of extracting may not be viable.
