AN Easter fair at the Kimrick, Mojacar raised a total of €165 for the MACS cancer charity.
Twenty stalls selling clothes, homemade pickles, jewellery, crafts, artisan soap and artwork, were set up inside the restaurant and on the terrace.
The MACS team made €65 on their used book stand. Joshua Lee, aged six, won the guess the name of the bunny competition (that raised €100), and was presented with two cuddly beaver toys, at the MACS shop.
The bunny, named “Devil Bunny,” was donated by Home Sweet Home, Turre along with an Easter egg, and will be used by MACS for future fund-raising events.
There will be a fashion show organised by Glad Rags, in aid of MACS on Sunday April 22 at the Vera Hotel. Call Margaret for tickets and more information: 620 534 423
