BEAMING smiles were the order of the day on the Arenal Beach as more than 100 people danced like crazy ones with Zumba Fitness.
The fitness dance phenomenon that has captured the imagination of the whole world, in aid of APASA, Javea’s municipal dog pound.
Set to the hottest Latin and international sounds, men, women and children danced for two whole hours in what turned out to be a full on spring day with soaring temperatures!
In total €1,700 was raised by the amazing participants in the event which was organised by yours truly of Zumba Costa Blanca, Spain’s only licensed Zumba Jammer (Zumba Fitness choreography specialist).
Presenters from Czech republic, Germany, Norway and the UK shook booty with home grown ones, and the sweat poured.
Spectators were out in force too, clapping and cheering and helping to fill those collection tins for the pooches.
In total €420 was raised on the tombola, with the prizes being donated by local companies and individuals, a full list can be seen on the website, www.zumbacostablanca.com.
