‘Nose biting’ Brit on trial next week

A BRITISH man accused of biting another man’s nose off after a heated argument in Punta Ballena, Magalluf, goes on trial next week.

The incident took place shortly before 4am on July 31, 2010. He faces an eight-year prison sentence and a further nine-month sentence for resisting arrest, according to a local Press report.

The victim had to undergo reconstructive surgery to replace the tip and side of his nose.
