Santangelo residents against Benalmadena ITV station

RESIDENTS in the Santangelo Norte area of Benalmadena (above the A-7 motorway) held a protest at the council against plans for an ITV (MOT) station in the area.

They say they are in favour of the station being created in the town but not in the residential area where they live.

The opposition parties in the council suggested finding other plots further away from homes which could be used.

The local mayor said this is the only available area, stressing it is two kilometres away from any houses.
