SINCE Denia Council launched their Wi-Fi public Internet service in June 2011, they have had around 60,000 visits from an estimated 4,000 users.
Named Wifidenia, this free service has been made available throughout major town hotspots for mobile devices with unlimited access without identification through the portals of the City Council (www.denia.es) and Denia Tourism (www.denia.net).
The scheme is not available for residential or business use. For all alternative services, positive identification must be given through user name and officially assigned password.
Advice on registration and problem solving are available on the council hotline, 902 18 40 18, or email sac.denia@wifi.ibersontel.com.
Top town hotspots are at the following locations.
Town Hall Square, Torrecremada, Chabas Park, Street Via, parking for the train station, Plaza Jaume 1, Park of Les Bassetes, Port of Denia, Sports Centre and the Marineta Cassiana Walk.
