Demands for 18th century aqueduct protection

ALHAURIN DE LA TORRE Town Hall has asked that the Junta de Andalucia declare the graffiti-covered Arcos de Zapata bridge an ‘Asset of Cultural Interest’, to increase its protection.

The bridge is what remains of a 18th century aqueduct, and goes over the new Malaga motorway which links to the A-7 at Torremolinos, and has been painted with graffiti recently.
