Pianist Sergio Marchegiani to perform in Alfaz del Pi

PIANIST Sergio Marchegiani will perform at the Alfaz del Pi Cultural Centre on Saturday February 25 at 8pm.

This concert is organized by the Classical Music Society of L’Alfas del Pi. Marchegiani, an internationally recognised pianist, will play the Noctournes of Chopin.

“This is a concert that any music lover would not want to miss,” said Philip Spires, president of the Classical Music Society.

“Not only can we immerse ourselves in the beautiful form that Chopin chose, but also we can revel in the virtuosity of a pianist who is willing to take on such a challenge.”

Sergio Marchegiani began studying piano at age six, giving his first recital at ten.

He has received numerous national and international awards that have enabled him to perform throughout the world.
