MANILVA Town Hall has taken disciplinary proceedings against two employees who allegedly used the municipal VISA cards to put petrol in their own cars.
The mayor of Manilva, Antonia Muñoz, has signed a decree by which they have been suspended without pay for “damaging the image of Manilva Town Hall”.
The irregularity was discovered thanks to the saving campaign being carried out since 2007 which has reduced municipal costs by 50 per cent.
