Stolen chickens: Recovered in farmhouse
A MAN, 58, was arrested in Pulpi, charged with stealing 40 chickens in Cuevas del Almanzora area.
He kept them in a farmhouse near where they had been stolen, with three cockerels and a bucket of feed he had also allegedly tolen.
However, he left behind older chickens which led Guardia Civil to suspect that he knew the value of the birds. Many of them have been recovered.
