TAABS chairperson Shirley Godfrey presented a €115 cheque to Keith Carter, chairman of the Orihuela Costa and District branch of the Royal British Legion.
This was for the 2011 Poppy Appeal from money raised from the sales of Torrevieja 2012 calendars. Meanwhile, Cathy Carson was recently at the San Javier Iceland store to help raise funds for the Poppy Appeal.
She sold many CD’s and met many friends old and new during the day.
