SIX school buses in Torrevieja were vandalized on Saturday. They were found with punctured tires and their engines broken. Three of them were repaired immediately before an investigator could look at them.
This is so that children in the area would make it to school. The bus company Autocares La Inmaculada had to hire buses from other companies, according to the owner Juan Armero.
An investigation is underway to determine the perpetrators of this act of vandalism. The person who carried tampered with the engine is believed to know the mechanics of motors well.
Security camera footage in Avenida de las Cortes Valencianas, where the incident took place, will be looked at.
The bus company is now looking for a garage where they can park the buses at night.
