Mojacar gardener arrested for theft

GUARDIA CIVIL have arrested a 29-year-old Mojacar gardener, accused of stealing from a customer’s home in the town.

The man – identified only by his initials D.P.P.A. – is suspected of stealing jewellery from the woman’s home which he allegedly accessed using a copy.

Suspicions were raised following the sale of several items of jewellery at shops in Vera and Cuevas de Almanzora which were later identified by the woman as being hers.
