Former mayor of Ronda, Antonio Marin pays bail

THE former mayor of Ronda, Antonio Marin, who was arrested for his allegedly involvement in the Acinipo corruption case, has paid bail of €150,000.

He and the former Citizen Safety Councillor, Rafael Lara, have both used their private homes as guarantees to prevent going to prison, while the bail for former Works and Urban Planning Councillor Maria Jose Martin de Haro, has been reduced from €80,000 to €40,000.

All three were set free on bail charged with corruption, embezzlement, coercion, money laundering and influence peddling.
