Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal

THE Royal British Legion’s (RBL) annual Poppy Appeal begins on Friday, October 14.
It is a time when volunteering members, although actively engaged all year round, work hard to raise funds for those who serve and have served their country and their dependents.
RBL are the principle service charity providing financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces; but you don´t have to be ex service to join.
RBL Spain North, particularly Benidorm and District Branch, always needs new members of all ages to assist with fund raising and serve if they wish on committees.
The Benidorm and District Branch covers Polop to Villajoyosa and meet the first Thursday of the month at 1pm in the Cumberland Bar near the Joke Shop in central Benidorm.
Every third Thursday we meet for a social meal at various venues in the area. We also support the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cumberland Bar where last year over 150 people attended.
