Teletic charity Sky Dive for MABS Cancer Support

Telecommunications experts, Telitec, have a team ready to go and raise funds for cancer patients and their families on the Costa Blanca!

Themselves based in Moraira, the four Telitec staff plan to make a parachute jump on October 9th 2011, starting from the Aerodromo Skydive Center, Murcia.

Colleen Trett once did a charity skydive in the UK. She says this is very personal for her: “I lost my Mum to cancer over twenty years ago and more recently an elderly gentleman who was like a father figure to me.

Fellow jumpers Neil Harrodine, Juanjo Buigues and Sergio Buigues have had similar experiences. The four of us got together and decided to help the charity that helps others with cancer. This is an exclusive jump to raise money just for MABS.”

MABS Cancer Support Group would like to express thanks to the Telitec team and urges everyone to get behind them with sponsorship, and to share the excitement ‘on the day’.

For a sponsorship form and more details of the time and place of the jump, please contact Colleen by email at: colleen@telitec.net

As MABS grows we are constantly in need of more volunteers. Please think of ways you could help us to encourage them to join us. There are now four main branches and several area offices of the charity in many geographical areas from Valencia to Gibraltar.

All need their Volunteers: Supporters, Drivers, Translators and, indeed, people who can ‘just be a buddy’ who’ll pop in for a cuppa, do a bit of shopping or just be there to listen. MABS Cancer Support Group offers support and kindness to cancer patients. Today MABS helps all nationalities, including Spanish speaking residents. MABS Cancer Support Group is registered charity number 7261.
