Battles were between the Moors and Christians.
An event was held in Sierra Cabrera to commemorate the area’s Moorish past with battles between Moors and Christians.
It was held at La Carrasca, which until 1837 belonged to Vera, and later became part of Turre. Local residents and many people from the rest of Spain enjoyed the events.
