Residents refuse to pay bills

RESIDENTS at Cabuzana Urbanization in Vera have complained that they have received water bills for more than €3,000 from Galasa.

Although some have come to payment agreements with the water company, others are refusing to pay as they believe they do not owe this amount of money.

One resident told EWN that he has been paying his bills since the meter was installed four years ago and refuses to pay this one as he considers it “unfair”. He and his family have now changed to a different comment. Galasa failed to comment on this situation.
