A 45-year-old Spanish man was arrested in Javea for allegedly committing two robberies. In April he supposedly held-up a petrol station with a fire-arm and his face covered, making off with nearly €500.
The second masked hold-up took place a week later at a pharmacy; more than €2,000 cash was stolen.
Video surveillance helped investigating officers determine the alleged culprit.
He is currently in jail awaiting trial.
