GUARDIA CIVIL in Cazalla de la Sierra, Sevilla, arrested a man for threatening a doctor at the local health centre with a bayonet. The 37-year-old man allegedly arrived at the local emergency department demanding treatment but when he was going to be treated, he refused it, and began to ask after a particular doctor, making disparaging and threatening remarks about him. He became extremely aggressive, insulting and threatening the staff.
When the Guardia Civil arrived he was found walking in the corridor, and they noticed he had an object hanging from his belt. He refused to hand it over, but the officers finally took the object which was found to be a large, old and rusty bayonet.
He was charged with threatening behaviour and public order offences.
