FARMHANDS bravely stepped into waist-deep, dangerous floodwater to rescue a herd of cattle from a farm in Spain.

A dramatic video has emerged on social media showing the farm workers releasing the livestock from a barn as the water was up to the animals’ necks.

The footage was uploaded at the weekend as Andalucia was battered by heavy rain and winds leaving many parts of the region under water.

Facebook user Toño Garcia Garcia uploaded the video which, it is believed, was shot in Ecija in Sevilla province in the south of Spain.
