A MAN could face a fine of up to €30,000 for taking a photo of a mobile police speed camera control and publishing it on social media in Spain.

The 23-year-old was spotted by the Mossos d’Esquadra on top of a service station roof in Girona taking pictures.

Police then saw the photo on social media so they tracked him down and arrested him according to a spokesperson.

The man now faces charges for breaking public safety laws and could have to pay a fine of between €601 and €30,000.
