Bridget, is that you?

POPULAR for her big screen portrayal of loveable middle-aged singleton Bridget Jones, blonde beauty Renée Zellweger made a rare appearance this week, looking completely unrecognisable.

Although she hasn’t appeared on the big screen since 2010, her most recent appearance at the Elle magazine Women in Hollywood awards showed the public that a lot has changed since then. A lot of fans had to squint their eyes and tilt their heads back just to find any similarities between Renée and this strange woman.

Known for her natural good looks, it seems as though Texan-born Renée is a lot less natural now, as there are visible signs to suspect she has had plastic surgery, particularly botox. Her forehead appears completely line free and there is a slight puffiness to her face.

Several doctors have been trying to analyse her face and work out what is the cause of the star’s extreme change of look. They have suggested options from brown lifts to non-surgical treatment, but Renée claims the new look is down to age and a happy and healthy lifestyle.
