Penelope Cruz named "Sexiest Woman Alive"

SPANISH beauty Penelope Cruz was this week named as Esquire magazine’s ‘sexiest woman alive’. She is the 11th winner of the annual accolade and she follows in the footsteps of other Hollywood stars such as Charlize Theron, Angelina Jolie and two-time winner Scarlett Johansson.

Mother-of-two Penelope has previously admitted being attracted to drama, but it appears drama is a thing of the past for her as when quizzed about her personal life with husband Javier Bardem and children Leo and Luna, she replied “that´s for us”, and insists she would rather not speak about her personal life.

Penelope´s younger sister Monica was also dressed-to-impress in Madrid this week at the launch of Spanish skincare brand, Halibut. Natural beauty Monica looked breathtaking in a figure hugging red dress paired with simple suede heels and minimal jewellery to complete the ensemble.

Monica is definitely following in her sister’s footsteps, sharing a striking resemblance to her and with similar facial features, olive skintone and glossy brunette hair. After giving birth to daughter Antonella by an anonymous sperm donor in May last year, it’s apparent she has definitely got back into shape.
