The actor who recently began filming scenes for the hit TV series ‘Game of Thrones’ has passed away at the age of 86-years-old.

JJ Murphy was set to star as Ser Denys Mallister and his role was to be a member of the Night´s Watch. Having only just started he was not able to shoot all the scenes for his character in the upcoming series five. Along with the series he had a film part in Dracula Untold to be released this year.

The Irish actor was famous in his country due to being in the Old Group Drama School during the 1940s. In fact the Dracula theme is not new for him as he acted in the 1980 version of The Death of Dracula in Belfast.
