Michelle Keegan in search of real Mallorca

Michelle Keegan Michelle Keegan Cordon Press

Michelle Keegan has fallen in love but this time it´s not with Mark Wright, it´s with Mallorca.

She recently visited the beautiful picturesque market town of Pollensa in Mallorca.

When the majority of people think of Mallorca they tend to think of Magaluf or Palma Nova but Mallorca is a lot more than just its south west corner. It’s when you head north from Palma airport that you discover the hidden gems of the real Majorca.

Northern Mallorca and in particular the quaint market town of Pollensa is a world away from the Magalufs and Palma Novas and it’s here where former Corrie star Michelle Keegan came to discover the real Mallorca.

Michelle stayed in the Villa Las Tortugas which is situated on a beautiful nine-hole golf course and boasts two luxury living areas, a state of the art modern kitchen, six large bedrooms each with its own en suite and a huge heated infinity pool.

The reason for Michelle’s visit was to take some time to relax after finishing her last emotional scenes as Coronation Street’s Tina McIntyre whom she played for over six years. She spent most of her time in Mallorca relaxing by the pool and cooking freshly bought local Pollensa produce on the barbecue.

When Michelle did venture out she took a boat excursion around Mallorca where you can really get a feel for the size of the island and even take a dip in the azure-blue Mediterranean.  The beautiful beach at Puerto Pollensa is only 10 minutes drive from Villa Las Tortugas which Michelle also frequented.

Michelle continues her love affair with Spain as she recently visited Orihuela in Costa Blanca for Mark's sister Leah's wedding. The next time you see Michelle Keegan relaxing in the sun she will probably be accompanied by her husband to be celebrating their honeymoon.
