The final preparations are underway for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s Italian wedding.

With just three days to go the wedding venue, Fort Belvedere in Florence, is being prepared for the big event.

This weekend will see the celebrity pair’s wedding extravaganza. Following an evening event and tour at the Palace of Versailles, guests will be flown via private jet to Florence, Italy, where the wedding will take place on Saturday at Fort Belvedere.

A representative for the mayor of Florence revealed last week that the couple have rented the fort, which has stunning views of the Renaissance city, for more than $420,000.

Yesterday (Wednesday) the pair were in Paris, busy perfecting the last few details for their pending nuptials, while trying to dodge paparazzi.

They stepped out in matching camel-coloured outfits. While they were doing the rounds a number of Valentino bags were delivered to their Parisian hotel suite, sparking speculation that the designer has made Kim’s dress.

The Italy venue currently looks like a building site, with staging, sound equipment and security being completed before the big day.

Reportedly, the fortress is the couple's second choice of venue after they were allegedly denied permission to wed at France’s Palace of Versailles.
