TABLE MOUNTAIN: A unique restaurant situated in the stunning Montes de Malaga TABLE MOUNTAIN: A unique restaurant situated in the stunning Montes de Malaga

La Mesa de Masmullar takes its name from the famous, flat topped mountain found above Cape Town.

This unique restaurant is a real find if you are prepared to trek up into the stunning Montes de Malaga. From whichever direction you choose to take to get to Table Mountain, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views as the road climbs. Located near the village of Comares, where you will see the pristine white houses, narrow streets, Moorish arches, architecture and stunning views of Los Ventorros.

When you arrive you will find a bright, friendly and homely restaurant where you can eat either inside or out on the front or (covered) back terrace. Table Mountain offers something a bit out of the ordinary in that, the menu, features a surprising and welcoming array of international dishes.

The starters include a tapas tasting menu so you get to try a bit of everything. As well as a range of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, Table Mountain also offers a selection of signature dishes using authentic ingredients and cooking techniques from around the world including Asian choices like Satay, Beef Rendang and Nasi Goreng from Indonesia plus Spicy South Indian curry - all of which are beautifully presented.

As you would expect, a superb assortment of home-made puddings and cheeses are available to round off a memorable meal. To sum up, this restaurant is worth going the extra mile to find the extraordinary. As one customer put it ‘Table Mountain is the culinary jewel of the campo.’
