ESTABLISHED for 16 years in Torremendo, Venus Cars are the leading providers of used cars and motor homes.
This family-owned business is run by Nigel Venus, who worked in the car industry in the UK before moving to Spain. Seeing a niche in the market, particularly for those wanting to bring their UK car and part exchange it for a Spanish vehicle, Venus Cars was set up and has since bought and sold thousands of vehicles.
Over the past four years the company has expanded and increased its fleet of motor homes and camper vans, which have proved ever popular with expat populations of all nationalities who have seen the advantage of living life on the road to see more of Spain and even to travel back to their home countries and have on site accommodation with them; perfect for keeping travelling costs down and visiting friends and family without imposing on them.
Motor homes of all shapes and sizes are in stock and in most cases, as with any car, you can be on the road in your new vehicle within 24 hours, safe in the knowledge that all the paperwork has been completed and the vehicle serviced and cleaned. Venus Cars offer an individual warranty on all vehicles, which is either based on a period of time or mileage; ideal for those buying a vehicle that will only be used for part of the year.
Part exchange is offered on right-hand and left-hand drive vehicles but if you are looking to get rid of your car or motor home, Venus Cars can buy it from you. “We are always looking at buying new vehicles,” said Nigel, “and particularly genuine, one-owner vehicles.” They will also buy English registered vehicles and give the owner back the necessary yellow slip for them to post back in the UK to show the vehicle is no longer theirs. All paperwork is carried out for Spanish vehicles, with Venus Cars transferring the vehicle immediately into their name, so you can rest assured it is no longer in your name and there will be no future Suma bills to pay.
They are also able to travel to you to collect the vehicle and will also work with the customer as best they can to deliver that vehicle to wherever they may need it.
Finance is not available but they can point you in the right direction and also help in getting insurance quotes.
