Arrange your dream holiday

WORLDWIDE HORIZONS: For all your travel needs. WORLDWIDE HORIZONS: For all your travel needs.

THEY say travel broadens your horizons and at Worldwide Horizons, your every travel dream, need and request can be met.

Established in La Zenia for nearly 15 years, Worldwide Horizons is your true, friendly local travel agency in every sense.

With years of experience, the team are able to fully arrange the holiday you want and whilst they are just as at ease organising your mini break to Benidorm or a city jaunt, they are specialists in tailor-made, luxury worldwide holidays.

“We have just sent someone on a two week adventure holiday in Costa Rica and currently have a party of 14 on a 33-night cruise,” said owner Yvonne Hollywood who said whilst many people now book holidays online, there are still many services and holidays where you can’t beat that personalised service a travel agency offers.

“We are here in person to sit down with our clients, discuss exactly what they are looking for and come up with the perfect holiday package for them and we can offer them personal endorsement that you don’t get when you go online.

Many times when people book online they don’t end up with the product they wanted when booking.

When that booking is in place, visa, currencies and insurance can be arranged and a door-to-door service put in place if required giving extra peace of mind.

Worldwide Horizons has in place the highest level of insurance possible for a travel agency; covered by the Spanish equivalent of ABTA, the reputable governing body for agencies, recognised in the UK.

For Yvonne and her team, as well as many sleepless nights in making sure every detail and travel arrangement is sorted for their clients, there is nothing quite like the satisfaction they receive when customers return home after having been on the holiday of a lifetime making it all worthwhile.

That personal feedback is also vital in enabling them to recommend hotels, destinations or excursions to future customers.

As a member of a group of 550 independent travel agents in Spain, Worldwide Horizons benefits from having the buying power of a large chain, but the freedom to do what they want working their preferred agents and tour operators.

“TUI is still one of our preferred operators as they really do have a first class level of service,” said Yvonne who regularly visits trade fairs to be up to date with the latest offers, travel packages available to customers and up and coming new destinations.

“We deal mainly with expats, but are largely driven by the Spanish market in terms of what flights are available from our airports, but more are coming on to the market.

We now have direct flights to LA and Miami and Barbados is being introduced this year also.

There is nothing quite like that feeling of sitting in a travel agents browsing through brochures and getting personal recommendations from staff in the know, so whether you are looking for a weekend break, a long haul destination or an around the world cruise, make Worldwide Horizons your first choice, open Monday to Friday 10am-5.30pm, Saturdays 10am-1.30pm.
