AREA BLANCA for all your property needs AREA BLANCA for all your property needs

AREA BLANCA ESTATES SL is the area’s leading real estate agents with an unrivalled wealth of experience.

With the office based in Torrevieja for just a year they may appear as newcomers on the scene, but owner Simon Lambert has decades of experience selling Spanish properties; initially working in Catalunya in 1979 selling villas after giving up his job at a leading international advertising agency in London for his Spanish dream.

That love affair with Spain has continued ever since and despite a stint in Canada in the 1980’s he returned after being headhunted by a leading property company at the time to become sales director for them.

It was during this time that Simon met most of his committed and dedicated multilingual staff that have joined him now at Area Blanca. Sitting out most of the recession as he “doesn't like giving people bad news,” Simon can see light at the end of the tunnel and having survived three recessions, he felt now was a good time to join with friend and business partner Jose Manuel Navarro, owner of building company Gama, in forming the new venture that is Area Blanca. Its ethos is very much not about the quantity, but the quality as Simon explained: “We want to sell a few villas really well offering exceptional customer service, not sell a lot of villas slap dash.”

Properties range from re-sales and new builds which are fundamentally marketed at the British and Scandinavian markets through international internet portals such as Rightmove and Kyero.

The team often attend property trade fairs having just returned from Sweden and are attending the ‘A Place in the Sun’ exhibition in Manchester this weekend, working with the UK sales director to promote and market properties and arrange inspection trips for potential buyers.

The company also has an office in Wimbledon, London, giving a strong presence and peace of mind for British buyers.

Under the guidance of Spanish based sales manager Stuart Pembrooke, buyers and sellers know they are in safe hands. Area Blanca also work in conjunction with M&S Interealty SL for all legal and fiscal needs of clients with a service that continues long after contracts have been signed and keys handed over.

Believing he has sold over 30,000 homes on the Costa Blanca over the years, Simon is still vehemently passionate about properties and Spain in general: “I still find it fascinating and learn something new every day. You’ll never get bored on the Costa Blanca. It is not absolute paradise; few places are, but it is a lot better than most.”

He added: “I sell villas for financial investment, it’s an investment in the quality of your life.”

Area Blanca are looking for value, quality properties up and down the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida. For more information on how they could help sell your home, visit them now in their offices in Avenida Habaneras, Torrevieja, open Monday to Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday and Sundays by appointment.
