ALBERTS BAR: A fantastic opportunity to savour the flavours of the food with several compatible wines. ALBERTS BAR: A fantastic opportunity to savour the flavours of the food with several compatible wines.

FOLLOWING the successful wine tasting evening at Alberts in Porto Cabopino last month, Fabrio Anton will be hosting yet another event on the February 25.

Fabrio, who is the assistant manager at Alberts, has been sharing his expert knowledge with those who enjoy a good wine but who need a little guidance. What Fabrio aims to do, is to simply help you choose a compatible wine to complement the flavours of the food and bring out the best in a dish.

The evening is a fantastic opportunity to savour the flavours without being overshadowed by wine buffs, which Fabrio hates. He believes that wine has become popular with all walks of life and there are many tastes in abundance just waiting to be enjoyed by all. Fabrio will be talking about the wines while the chef will serve a selection of food, so that everyone can taste for themselves just how well the combinations work together.

Many experts lay down the law about which wine we should drink with meat or fish dishes, according to Fabrio, but he is a strong believer that it is really down to personal choice. There are no set rules just suggestions and the main aim is to find a wine that you can be sure to relax with and enjoy.

This is definitely a date for your diary and we suggest you book in advance as spaces are limited. Whatever your preconceptions are, why not joins us on the 25th and taste the difference at Alberts.

For reservations call 952 836 886.
