Connectatrade.com - the only solution for finding trusted tradesmen and services

By Thursday, 12 February 2015 17:54 0

LIVING in Spain is glorious. However for many expats, visitors and residents alike, trying to source trades people and services across the coast can not only be somewhat tricky at the best of times, but it can be costly.

Especially if you pick an unknown quantity only to discover that the tradesmen employed have either not fulfilled their commitment to your satisfaction or in some cases not fulfilled it at all once payment has been secured.

Those days are now well and truly behind us since we discovered a new company aptly named Connectatrade.com.

It is a simple concept, but one that will give homeowners peace of mind that they are hiring reliable, trustworthy rated trades people and services within their allocated budget.

For trades people and service providers here on the coast it provides a steady stream of additional income.

In a nutshell, therefore, Connectatrade.com’s goal is to be the equivalent of TripAdvisor for tradesmen and service providers in Spain.

Homeowners simply go to www.connectatrade.com and enter the type of trade or service they require, the post code where the work is to be done and details of the required work and post their job for free. They will then receive notification of interested parties in that job, they can then view the company profile and ratings and reviews from other genuine customers to make a more informed decision about who they hire. When the work is complete, they rate their tradesmen or service provider on Quality, Reliability and Value to share their experience with others in the community.

Not only does Connectatrade take the risk out of finding local tradesmen and service providers, but also provides much needed business for those plying their trades especially in the present financial climate.

Tradesmen and service providers can select the leads they want, where they want them and when, giving total flexibility.  With the ratings they receive this will in turn help them gain more customers for life and grow their business.

We asked Neil Dawson of Dawson Builders what he thought of the idea: “I think this is exactly what Spain needs as not only a service for homeowners, but as a valuable platform for any company wishing to do business in Spain.

“It will help reduce the number of cowboys out there and enable the genuine businesses to get recognised for the quality of their work and for users to know more about who they are dealing with.”
