IF you are still deciding what to do for Christmas or New Year then look no further, treat yourselves to a well earned break away in the Ronda countryside, the Serrania de Ronda.

Ian and Elaine moved to Ronda nearly 10 years ago from Puerto Cabopino where they had a very successful Harbour Lights restaurant.

Now they have a lovely country hotel called the Hotel Molino Del Puente  and La Cascada restaurant (recom-mended on TripAdvisor).

With Christmas nearly upon us, they have just a few rooms left for the festive week.

This family run boutique hotel is in the heart of the Ronda countryside - just a five minute drive from Ronda.

There is a fabulous walk from the hotel to the town taking you along the bottom of the famous gorge - a perfect morning stroll - arriving in time for some well deserved tapas and a sherry or two in one of the many plazas .

If bird watching is your passion, cycling, walking or enjoying rural Spain, this is the perfect venue for you - they can organise guided events or provide maps if you want to explore by yourselves !

For further information on the Christmas, New Year, and what’s coming up in 2015, please visit the hotel’s website www.hotelmolinodelpuente.com or call Elaine on 952 874 164
