The Swedish way with Fastighetsbyrån

By Monday, 06 October 2014 10:55 0

FASTIGHETSBYRÅN is Sweden’s leading real estate agency and wholly-owned by Swedbank. Swedbank is Sweden’s largest bank and one of the most wellknown brands in the country.

Their Mallorca office focuses on sales and is headed by Stefan Wiezell, Jörgen Reivant and a professional team to help clients find their dream property.

“We ensure that every purchase of property in Mallorca is safe, secure and seamless,” Stefan said. “We are currently concentrating in Palma town and the south west coastline to Puerto Andratx.

Fastighetsbyrån has been in Spain since 2008, and they are currently setting up a network of offices along the Mediterranean coast, in Mallorca and the Canary Islands. “Most of our clients are Scandinavian, but we are open to everyone,” said Stefan. “Scandinavians, and especially Swedish citizens, can take advantage of the fact that there was no crisis for them and in addition to that, the interest rates are very good at present, so buying an overseas property is indeed a good investment.

In addition to that, the fairs organised twice a year in three main cities help customers familiarise themselves with different areas as well as properties.

With so much experience under their belts, the team at Fastighetsbyrån has a portfolio that caters for their Nordic tastes. “Scandinavians like new or renovated indoor spaces, with open-plan areas being a big hit. In general they look for two bedroom, medium-size apartments with a large terrace and a sea view. They like Palma old town. So we try to search for properties with those specifications,” added Stefan.

The island itself with its beautiful typical villages, a share of sea and mountains, more than 20 golf courses and a city with lots of culture and history does not need any marketing.

“Our ultimate aim is to accommodate our customers’ wishes and requirements for a holistic solution to buying a property,” said Stefan.

Office hours are Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm.
