Marbella Design Academy, founded in 1995, is now the leading international design school in Spain, and one of the top in the world.

State recognised by the Ministry of Education and in partnership with Middlesex University London, the Academy welcomes students of many different nationalities who want a top education in a range of design subjects.

The Academy prides itself on giving first class tuition delivered in English in a friendly atmosphere, concentrating on welcoming students who have avant-garde ideas, a passion for design and who want to become a professional designer with an official BA (Hons) degree.

Marbella Design Academy offers higher education in design programmes in Interior Architecture, Graphic Design and Fashion Design validated by Middlesex University London. Upon successful completion of their chosen three-year programme, students are awarded a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours degree by Middlesex University London.

Marbella Design Academy is located in Monda, just 200 metres - a three min walk from the centre and only 15km from Marbella.

The campus has its own lovely facility with 2,000m2 of floor space surrounded by 10,000m2 of parkland and the beautiful surroundings creates the perfect environment for creative thinking.

High Academic Standards

The standards of the academy are high, which is recognised by the design industries.

Despite the current world crisis, our students still manage to achieve a near 100 per cent employment rate upon graduation. The Academy is renowned globally as one of the leading international design schools, competing with the best design schools in the world due to its supreme academic standards.

Design Show and Student Exhibitions

Each year the Academy hold an Exhibition Design Show of all of the students’ work, which is held in the stunning location in Monda.

All of the exhibitions have been very successful. The student’s work is judged to be of an extremely high standard by the press and media, as well as industry professionals and many graduates are often head hunted by companies during the exhibition.

Students from all over the world

Students from around the globe come to study at Marbella Design Academy.

They originate from nearly 40 different nationalities. All of the students find great inspiration when studying alongside others of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. The students inspire each other through working on their design projects in an international cross-cultural atmosphere.

Entry Requirements

Although one of the entry requirements is that the applicant must have a high school or similar diploma, students who do not fulfil this requirement can still enter by completing the Academy’s popular 12-weeks foundation course.

  • The courses start in September and in January each year.
