By Monday, 04 August 2014 13:15 0

A Mexican man has died from a gunshot wound whilst taking a selfie, it has been reported. Twenty one-year-old Oscar Otero Aguilar had regularly posted ‘selfies’ to Facebook.

Found dead at his home on the arrival of the emergency services, Omar Abner Campos Vives was arrested at the time but it has since been explained that that the young man was probably shot by the gun with which he was taking a ‘selfie.’

A neighbour heard screams after a shot and then alerted police. However another friend who had been drinking with Oscar has since disappeared, he is known only as ‘El Paco.’
